Taking care of your jewellery

Silver and copper will tarnish with wear, and over time.

You don't need to use harsh chemicals to clean your jewellery. Make a paste with baking soda and water, use a little on a soft toothbrush and rub gently. Rinse thoroughly in clean water, and dry thoroughly before storing.

Take extra care with stone-set rings, as the stones can be delicate. Take them off when doing the dishes or showering, and playing sports to prevent damage to the stones and settings.

It's a good idea to not wear necklaces in the shower or bath, and in bed as they could get tangled or damaged.

Always store your jewellery separately in tissue paper, a soft cloth or pouch.
